Cape Times: 17th June 2010: Tyrone August reviews:
"Local comedian Al Prodgers kicked off the show. While his brand of humour is gentle rather than vicious, he is not scared to speak his mind. His targets includes the president's ever-expanding family and Julius Malema ("not the fastest comrade in the marathon") And the repertoire of any self-respecting social commentator - for that is what the best comedians are - cannot be complete this year without some reference to the World Cup. Prodgers, clearly an astute observer of everything and everyone around him, duly obliges."

Cape Argus: June 2010: Zane Henry reviews:
"Joburg's Al Prodgers jokes about the differences between Cape Town and Jozi in an affectionate away. His humour veers between broad and sophisticated, with some of his cleverer jokes getting an unfairly muted response."
